While it’s important to strive to reach goals and be a better person year-round, the coming of the new year is perfect motivation to set resolutions, make plans to be better, and do the things you always wanted to do, but never had the chance! Here are some of our 2016 resolutions:
- Read one book a month: One book a month may seem easy, but with everything going on and the business of today’s world, it can be hard to find the time to curl up and get sucked into a novel! Finding the time to squeeze in at least one book a month will be a challenge, but a rewarding one!
- Protect our eyes: How many times have you been out driving and gotten blinded by the sun's rays, and found yourself thinking, I wish I had remembered my sunglasses? The sun’s rays can be harmful even in the future, and we resolve to make sure we’re always prepared with sunglasses to protect from cataracts and inflammation. - Get organized: Especially after the present-packed holiday season, it can feel like our homes and desks have become a magnet for clutter. The new year is the perfect time to tidy up, put things in organized boxes and drawers, and throw away the things you never use.
- Visit a new destination: Life is not meant to be lived in one place! We've all decided to visit somewhere we have never been. You can also plan a vacation to see something you've never seen. Even if it's just a daycation with family or friends. It will be worth it!
